RUBBISH Icons

A few years back we created a series of LONDON ICONS in knit exclusively for SELFRIDGES as unique gift items to feature in their concept store.

The exclusive series featured VOGUE editor in chief Edward Enninful, head of the MET POLICE Cressida Dick, London landmark Big Ben, HRH Her Majesty The Queen, London export fashion queen Anna Wintour and ANGLOMANIA herself, Dame Vivienne Westwood. In keeping with our iconic RUBBISH Fashionable Fingerpuppets, we worked with our long time collaborator Jess Pemberton to create the new miniature knitted versions. Packaging designed by us, with the emphasis on celebration, framing each hand knitted puppet and adding a brooch clasp so people can pin their puppet to their lapel and wear in homage to their icon. Each puppet was hand knitted by our ladies in Peru, so no two puppets are ever the same.
